Alise Raak
Professor
Alise Raak is a professor with the Center for Entrepreneurship at Wake Forest University, where she teaches students how to understand consumers, identify meaningful opportunities, and develop ideas into viable businesses.
She brings more than 15 years of experience in innovation, marketing, and business strategy across organizations including The Variable, Inmar Intelligence, and IMG College, now Learfield. Throughout her career, Raak has worked with organizations across consumer goods, retail, technology, sports, healthcare, and business services to uncover growth opportunities, develop new products and services, and build the strategies and business cases required to bring them successfully to market.
In addition to her work at Wake Forest, Raak leads BlueLeaf Strategies, a marketing and business strategy practice that advises organizations on growth, innovation, customer strategy, and go-to-market challenges. Her work reflects a consistent belief that a great product alone does not make a great business.
Outside of work, Raak enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young daughters.
