Founded by Scott Graber ('10), Julie Musgrave ('10), and Eleanor Smith ('10), Wake Wash provides door-to-door laundry and dry-cleaning services for Wake Forest students. MySavu is a live website called mysavu.com that advertises businesses and services at American colleges. It provides students and faculty with directions, distance, and time from campus, an interactive map, hours of operation, business descriptions, and special discounts. MySavu.com enables students to quickly find businesses and offers business owners affordable advertising options to target college students. MySavu creates “communiversity” by integrating the community and university students. MySavu was founded by Brett Apter and Ben Comer on January 20th, 2009 after three months of planning. Fusing their interests in both science and business, Michael Metzmaker, Sara Branson, and several other students have developed a way to enliven the study of molecular biology for young children through innovative teaching methods and materials. Hoping to build awareness and educate students about cellular mechanisms in an exciting and stimulating way, BioBotz plans to develop a television series, video games and action figures, with bio-molecular machines as the "heroes." Junior female golfers now have a line of apparel designed especially for them. Wear to Win designs, manufactures, and sells skorts and other golf wear for junior female golfers. Wake Audio was started to provide organizations holding events on campus easy and affordable solutions for Audio Technical needs. Wake Audio increases or creates revenues for student organizations, provides previously unavailable technical service during events, and provides a central front to handle all event planning including audio technical requirements and venue reservation. Terrafinity Founded by sophomore Afton Vechery, junior Wesley Johnson, and senior Lacey Robinson, Terrafinity promotes the development and implementation of sustainable scientific concepts through a nationwide, campus-based, open-source network which serves as a source of funding, ideas, and organizational support. Terrafinity is actively working to establish a process that would enable college campuses, including Wake Forest, to manufacture and utilize biofuel for campus operations. The company currently utilizes student volunteers to help with both the operations and management of the non-profit company. Booty Wax Freshman Ryan Edwards is the founder of Booty Wax, a 100% organic surf wax composed of beeswax, coconut oil, pine resin, and a secret add-in that makes the wax bead up on the board.
