Entrepreneurship & Social Enterprise Minor Requirements

To become an ESE minor, students must:

  1. declare a major
  2. complete the ESE Minor application 
  3. submit application for approval to the ICE office, 230 Reynolda Hall

All newly declared minors are required to meet with an academic advisor through the ICE office, 230 Reynolda Hall.  Academic advising is available during the regular major/minor advising periods by appointment.

All students may fulfill 3 of their 9 elective hours by taking the WFUSB Summer Management Program (BUS 295).

No more than 6 of the 9 elective hours may be counted from a student's major.

 

Liberal Arts Majors

18 total credit hours

9 hours of required courses:

  • ESE 100:  Creativity and Innovation
  • ESE 101:  Foundations of Entrepreneurship
  • ESE 205:  Managing the Entrepreneurial Venture: Start-up to Early Growth

And 9 hours of electives selected from the ESE Minor Courses list.

Business Majors

18 total credit hours

9 hours of required courses:

  • ESE 100:  Creativity and Innovation
  • BEM 377:  Entrepreneurship
  • 3 more hours of ESE 300-level courses

And 9 hours of electives selected from the ESE Minor Courses list.
