Richard and Carolyn Riley Scholarship in Entrepreneurship

Application DeadlineApril 11th, 2014

Wake Forest University offers students who know that they have an interest in entrepreneurship the opportunity to participate in the Program in Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship early in their college experience. The Richard and Carolyn Riley Scholarship is awarded annually for one year to a student who shows outstanding potential in entrepreneurship. This scholarship carries a value of $2,500 and will be available to a student who has declared an ESE minor prior to submitting the application.

This scholarship is funded through the generosity of the Richard and Carolyn Riley through the endowed Richard and Carolyn Riley Fund for Entrepreneurship.  The purpose of the Fund is to provide funds for undergraduate students in the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship program who are participating in learning experiences related to their for-profit and not-forprofit entrepreneurial career interests.  The learning experiences should have an ethics focus.

Preference in awarding funds will be given to students who exhibit strong moral character, an interest in entrepreneurship, and a great concern for business ethics.
