The Innovation Station provides a physical space for student entrepreneurs to meet and work on their ventures. This is an open, creative, flexible space equiped with white boards, felt boards, tables, chairs, overhead video projection and video conferencing capability and more. We encourage our student and faculty entrepreneurs to take full advantage of this space as you develop out the concept and business model for your venture. The Innovation Station is located on the second floor of Reynolda Hall in the Office of Career and Personal Development, 230 Reynolda Hall. Key-card access is required after hours. Development Space & 3D Printing.
The CICE has access to 3D printers for prototype development. Students may request time to use these by contacting Dr. Bill Conner in the Biology Department. Additionally starting in fall 2016, students will have access through the Innovation Quarter in downtown Winston-Salem to maker space for technology, 3D printing, electrical circuitry, as well as general incubator for teamwork on projects.
At 525 Vine in the Innovation Quarter downtown, Flywheel offers co-working space for a working, meeting and project development as well as many programs and workshops that are designed to help new entrepreneurs get off the ground. Access to these spaces and programs are fee only.
