Michael Friezo is a Partner at the Lydian Advisory Group. Michael co-founded Lydian in 2012 to provide financial and operational consulting services to the finance, insurance, natural resources and entertainment industries. One of his clients, 320 Sports, where Michael is the Chairman of the Board, is currently being featured on Esquire TV’s docu-reality show, The Agent. Prior to forming Lydian, Michael spent almost 30 years as an investment banker at various Wall Street firms in both Houston and New York. The first half of his career was spent providing corporate finance advice to companies in the chemicals, energy, energy tech, power and renewables industries and the last 15 years raising billions of dollars of equity capital – IPO’s, follow-ons, equity-linked and private placements – across various industry sectors. From 2003- 2012, Michael was the Head of Equity Capital Markets in the Americas for Deutsche Bank. Michael has served on a number of nonprofit boards including the Montclair Kimberley Academy, the American Red Cross, the Council of Overseers at the Jones School, and Our Lady of Grace Church. He graduated with a BS in Economics from TCU in 1984 and an MBA from Rice University in 1988. Michael lives in Montclair, NJ with his wife, Michele, and their two children, Lauren’15 and Caroline’19.
