Gary Herman, has over 20 years of investment experience with a significant focus on public companies and undervalued opportunities. Since 2002, Mr. Herman has been a managing member of Galloway Capital Management, LLC, which, through its investment fund, Strategic Turnaround Equity Partners, LP (Cayman) focuses on investments in primarily undervalued U.S. listed securities. Through Strategic and related entities, Mr. Herman has been involved in numerous activist investment in the small and micro-cap segment of the equity markets. Some of his noted activist involvement was in: Setitel, Inc., RadNet, Inc., FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc., and most recently, RiceBran Technologies, Inc. From January 2011 to August 2013, Mr. Herman was also a managing member of Abacoa Capital Management, LLC, which, through its fund, Abacoa Capital Master Fund, Ltd. focused on a Global-Macro investment strategy. Since 2005, Mr. Herman has been a registered representative with Arcadia Securities LLC, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer based in New York. Prior to that he was an investment banker with Burnham Securities, Inc. Mr. Herman has served on the boards of numerous public and private companies. He holds a B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany with a major in Political Science and minors in Business and Music.
