Alan Naumann is the newly appointed Chairman and CEO of Contrast Security. Most recently Alan served as the Chief Executive Officer at 41st Parameter, leading the cloud software company to its $325M acquisition by Experian. He has more than 25 years of technology management experience leading venture-backed companies in the cyber security, internet infrastructure, and computer industries. Alan served as the CEO of CoWare prior to its acquisition by Synopsys, and as CEO of Calico Commerce where he lead the company through its IPO. At Cadence Design Systems Alan helped drive and implement many of the company’s acquisitions and served in key executive roles including the company’s rapid expansion in Japan. During his 10 years at Cadence, the company grew from $10M to over $1B in annual sales. Mr. Naumann started his career at Hewlett-Packard in the computer business, holding positions in the computer business sector, regional field operations and the Corporate Computer Strategy group. He currently serves as a Member of the CICE Advisory Board at Wake Forest University, and as an advisor to the Duke University Startup Challenge. Alan received a BS in computer engineering, graduating with honors and distinction from Iowa State University.
